The Habit Expert.
My story begins with a young girl’s dream that never happened.
For as long as I can remember, I was always fascinated by the human brain and behavior. More specifically, I wanted to understand why criminals did the unspeakable things they went to prison for. This made my future very clear to me: I aspired to become a criminal psychologist and work in law enforcement as a criminal psychologist. When the time came, I enrolled as a Psychology major. I loved every bit of it, but I was wondering if I was really cut out for it. I graduated but I chose not to pursue my studies further.
A few years later, I moved to the beautiful French Riviera to join the love of my life, where I discovered the joys of luxury event planning, and had the privilege of working in beautiful venues and meeting amazing people. I loved the challenge this new job offered: having to learn everything from scratch and meeting new people in a new country. It was very exciting and very rewarding.
When the pandemic started, all of our events were canceled one by one. We didn’t know what would happen in the coming months so we stopped working and waited. At first, this abrupt stop was welcomed like a much-needed break after a couple of intense years on the job, a time to rest and develop healthy habits for the body and the mind.
After a few months, a certain panic started to set in with many, many questions. “Will I ever work in events again?”, “Will things ever go back to the way to the way they used to be?”. Eventually, I started doubting the career I had chosen altogether, “Is this job really for me?”, “If, and when things go back to a new normal, will this still be for me?”. I didn’t know what to think or how to feel. Was something wrong with me? Did I have commitment issues? I was a hard worker — I had been working for 15 years since my very first job back in high school– and back then I didn’t know how to feel or what to believe. It was like an inner voice was starting to tell me that event planning was perhaps a cycle of my life that had come to an end. That it was time to move on to whom I was supposed to be and what I was supposed to do. But the million-dollar question remained: who am I supposed to be? All I knew, was that I loved meeting new people, I was passionate about the human mind and I felt a need to contribute to people’s lives.
Then one day at home, while I was making lunch, I was listening to Jay Shetty’s podcast, a life coach who dropped everything to become a Buddhist monk for 3 years. I had discovered his podcast the year before and I loved his insightful conversations with different guests on how to live a healthier and happy life. It eventually hit me. This was it. Life coaching. It was like developing those healthy habits and routines during the pandemic had given me the space to find my purpose, and it all finally made sense.
These past years have helped me build experience, develop a network and make a life for myself in a new country. It’s safe to say I’ve come a long way since my worry days. I now understand that life is made up of cycles and that there is no such thing as failure, merely obstacles. This “fragmented” life of mine turned out to be a strength rather than a setback.
My dream of becoming a criminal psychologist never happened indeed, but that passion for psychology helped me define who I am and my true purpose, to contribute to the world as a life coach.
As a certified work-life balance coach, my role is to help you transform your life for the better while transforming mine at the same time. I will guide you to a healthier life balance by creating healthy habits to simplify your life and make time for the things that really matter to you.
You may be wondering why you would need my services if you can just Google anything, and get all the answers you need.
That’s the thing though. When you Google something, you get the answers to the questions you are asking. But who said they were the right questions?
My mission as a coach is to ask you the right questions at the right time. There are countless methods and strategies out there, for free!
You may try a method or two and decide it’s the right one for you. You will be 100% committed and you will make it work for a few days. Eventually, the novelty effect will wear off and it will stop working. You’ll think it wasn’t the right method so you’ll try a second one, then a third but you’ll always find yourself coming back to the same conclusion… You will be frustrated and discouraged and you will feel like giving up.
That’s where I come in. I will help you get clarity and understand what’s not working, why, and how to make it work while giving you practical tools and methods to help you reach your goals. These aren’t answers you’ll find on Google.
It won’t be easy but it’ll be worth it, I promise.
Are you ready to start something wonderful together?
My habit formation workshops are tailored to meet the unique needs of each company and its employees.
During the workshop, participants will learn about:
A coach will not tell you what to do or give you all the answers, because you hold all the answers to your own problems within you. The coach’s role is merely to ask the right questions at the right time, but the focus remains on you and what is inside your head. Coaching serves as a stepping stone to help you reach your goals and help you create the life you want for yourself. It will challenge your limiting beliefs and guide you through a new way of thinking
Coaching works, for everyone. The only catch: you have to commit to doing the hard work. If you do, it will bring you a fresh take on life, new opportunities, and closer to living the life you want. It won’t be easy but I promise, it will be worth it!
Coaching is a partnership. The real question is: who will you feel the most comfortable with and the safest, to reach into the depths of your unconscious and get out of your comfort zone? Coaching is about energy and connection more than anything else, hence the importance of the discovery call where we can discuss your goals and how I can support your growth.
Ask yourself: what are my expectations? What do I hope to accomplish in the coaching sessions? Focus on the desired outcome and the coaching will be a useful tool for developing a strategy for how to achieve that outcome with greater ease.
Send me a message with a short description of what you’re hoping to achieve through this coaching, and we’ll take it from there.
I offer a free discovery call to people interested in working with me. This one-hour call allows me to understand some of the results you might be looking for and help us figure out if we’re a good fit. I’ll give you some insights too, so hopefully you’ll get some real value out of it already.
Purchasing the coaching package means you are ready to commit to the process of transforming your life. However, we also understand that life can be unexpected. We are happy to give you a full refund at any point in the first 30 days after the purchase date.
